Golden Goose Deluxe Brand is something I’ve always admired. They were launched back in 2000 after bringing together the talents of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. As time went on, they have become a major designer brand with flagship stores all over the world, and it’s one that many fashion lovers are drawn to.

I’ve kept an eye on Golden Goose for some time and I would often look through what FarFetch had, as they always had an amazing selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always felt the price was too high and looked too similar to Converse, so they were always shoes that were just in the back of my mind. A couple of years ago, Adam was the one who first got into the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what inspired me to look into them more. Having seen his in person and realizing the uniqueness of each pair because they’re crafted by hand in Italy, I was totally into it. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are intentionally aged and made to seem broken-in, they are all hand done so there’s no two pairs alike. Some have stronger distressing than others, so the variation is wide.
